I could never climb into bed knowing I'm any kind of dirty. Urghh. No.

These posts just remind me of the reddit threads where grown ass men admitted to things they didn't know they were expected to do (like washing their asses)

true. when I'm at the beach and barefoot all the time I have to wash my feet before bed, it's just unthinkable to crawl into bed with dirty feet. also, when my feet are really dried out and eek I wear socks to bed cause the dry skin makes little scratchy sounds against the sheets that weird me out.

I grew up with my family telling me 3 showers a day was normal and anything less was nasty lol. But I feel like that’s common for black families in the South. Well, at least mine.
Luckily I broke myself and my dry skin free of the 3 shower shackles and am now down to one every night. Unless I work out or sweat or something.

Sure, if you're in a hot and humid climate it's different, I shower twice a day in summer but wouldn't make it a regular thing all year (unless I really sweat/workout etc.)

If you're in a hot climate that makes sense tho. I'm currently in Croatia and was out in a park for like an hour or so a little before noon. I swear my body basically dissolved and by the time I got back to the hotel I was 90% sweat.
