August 5, 2021 In an interview with Vanity Fair, Jake Gyllenhaal jumps into the bathing discourse, saying he finds bathing less necessary.
"More and more I find bathing to be less necessary, at times. I do believe, because Elvis Costello is wonderful, that good manners and bad breath get you nowhere. So I do that. But I do also think that there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves."
This comes after Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher said they don't bathe their children until they see dirt, and Kristen Bell said her daughters have to have an odor before they're bathed.
