First Reformed was one of the best movies of the last 10 years imo, so even tho this trailer is weak i'm really looking forward to this.

I will never forget the story on Paul Schrader and the making of The Canyons, so the renewed love he has post First Reformed is bonkers to me (yes, I saw it).

The story about George C Scott almost quitting a movie he directed until Schrader promised him he’d never direct again is one that still makes me laugh though.

i liked first reformed much better when it was first released as winter light in 1963
