What we all needed is here!

New season starts today and I’ll be honest - I’ve got butterflies. But one great fact about butterflies is that they only show up when you care a lot about something. And also they taste with their feet.

I got 6 months of apple tv for free with my PS5 so I'm gonna watch this. I hope it's good cause there's literally nothing else that looks interesting on this app.

I think trying was very cute and sweet if that’s you’re kinda vibe but yeah not much on it at all.

It was definitely a slightly slow start but [thoughts!] I really liked when Keeley apologised to Roy for pressuring him into doing something he didn’t wanna do. Maturity and TALKING things in out in a relationship to avoid misunderstandings and unnecessary conflict? Literally what other show does this lol. I can’t wait to see more of them when the season progresses hopefully.

I was a bit meh on the whole psychologist thing so I’m keen to see where it goes and if they explore Ted’s experience with marriage counselling.

this whole show is just about what can happen when people talk to each other. between Roy telling Keeley not to lie to Rebecca, Ted being open with Beard about therapy, Rebecca not hesitating to talk about boys with Ted.... its just so nice.

I also loved Roy telling Rebecca the truth about her new boyfriend. She can do better and she deserves better!

I watched the first S2 ep last night after binging S1 a couple months ago, and I very much enjoyed it! At points I felt like it was trying a little too hard, which wasn't the case in S1, but I guess that's somewhat understandable with the pressure on to live up to S1's acclaim.

Jason Sudekis definitely stumbled over the first line about Tom Cruise in Magnolia to the point where I'm not sure why they didn't do another take, but the back and forth afterward made up for it.
