Gonna see Snake Eyes tomorrow and Old on Saturday, and I already have tickets for The Green Knight next week. I was looking ahead to upcoming releases, and man, once October hits it is gonna be release after release after release!

The Academy Museum released their first few movies of screenings, and there is a lot of tempting stuff there, too. I'm excited for all the Q&A/conversations they're gonna end up adding for upcoming films and retrospectives alike - l already picked up tickets for a screening of Malcolm X with Spike Lee and Denzel Washington talking afterward.

This week's watches were all over the place: Escape Room and its sequel, The Conversation, Kajillionaire, plus a bunch of episodes of Without a Trace. Yes, I have always had a thing for Anthony LaPaglia and no, I don't wanna talk about it!!

I'm super interested in Ailey. On the fence about Jolt, but I do like Kate. I saw Can You Bring It: Bill T. Jones and D-Man in the Waters a couple months ago and really enjoyed the insight into the process and history of the dance and its place in the AIDS crisis and how its legacy is being carried on today.

i don't actually want to see old but i did read the graphic novel it was based on, which was gross and weird, and i'm curious to see if the film changes anything
