the dresses at cannes this year has been a little lackluster for me, i feel like there are always so many wow dresses but this year... idk. which is weird since it's one of the major carpet since the pandemic, you'd think people would really go all out.

or maybe they are and i'm just not feeling all of the current dresses

Cannes this year has mostly been either costumey or 2005 Miss Universe evening gown competition. One shoulder, beaded and weird halter necks.
Yuck.

Unpopular opinion, I like Rachel's dress. The color is season-appropriate and the style is a throwback to vintage dresses from the 1920's. At least we haven't seen a dozen other dresses that look just like it, the way we have with Maria Bakalova's dress.
