I saw Fear Street Part Two: 1978 and liked it a bit more than the first part. Still, it's not what I imagined it'd be. I expected the movies to be more campy and fun. Meanwhile most characters are assholes and when they are fun to watch they usually die lol

i have tickets to see Roadrunner this weekend but i'm actually having reservations about watching it after some things i've read this week (demonizing Asia Argento as contributing to his death and apparently the director used an AI program to make it sound like Anthony was saying some things he'd written, which is... iffy). i also don't want to cry :/

you'll cry for sure. the ai thing is a little odd - you can tell when it happens because it just... suddenly doesn't sound like him? lol i was like "why are they using a voice actor?"

i don't think they demonized asia argento at all. it's hard to ignore the circumstances that led to his death but they do a fine job of acknowledging that gravitating toward her was a symptom of his life experience at that point in time rather than a cause, if that makes sense

bourdain's death hit me kinda hard. i want to watch it, but i haven't even been able to bring myself to watch old episodes of no reservations/parts unknown. i'll probably cry.

Space Jam: A New Legacy apparently has a 38% rating on rotten tomatoes BUT I don't put too much stake into that cause the original had 44% approval rating.

Which is all irrelevant cause I LOVED the original as a kid so forget the adults! Either way I AM PUMPED FOR IT TMR :DDDD!!
