I don't really follow what goes on at Cannes, but is this common/uncommon? If you're showing at a festival it seems like you should follow the custom/protocol and do the press conference regardless of whether a scumbag is associated with your project or not - face up to it if you're complicit or just leave and don't show there.

I don't think it's common! I pay a little attention, not like... Perfect attention but I don't remember off the top of my head this happening in recent years

Thank you, but I've used up all of my free Vulture articles, lol. I should just get a subscription. I read the link below and OMG, what a horrible human being.
