He looks like he's in his late 20s. I am all for shows casting older actors than putting teenagers in compromising roles, but this dude would never pass for a teenager irl. Also they shouldn't cast a mix of teenagers and older people(looking at NHIE/PLL).

Idk, I think the PLL casting was fine except for Troian but I was willing to overlook it because she was the better actress/character out of the liars. I still can never get over the fact that Sasha was only 13 when filming the PLL pilot. What a queen.

I agree, it’s super weird how some shows like Everything Sucks, Gossip Girl, and Pretty Little Liars hired just one character with a real life 13/14 year old, all while playing against actors who are in their late teens and early 20’s in reality, and then the characters are meant to be to be of similar ages and mixing and matching the pairings.
