Watched this live and seeing Miriam get emotional when they started talking about their eating disorders was really heartbreaking.

Glad to see they’re still close/good friends though.

It was thoughtless of the show to have Miriam do an ed plot when she was recovering. I’m furious for her.

I was also sad when Cassie mentioned Ellie cutting because I remember seeing scars on her arms in Degrassi Goes Hollywood promo pics.

I rewatched the show last year and I kept wondering and hoping they had a good support system for these kids when they’re doing tougher storylines.

Yeah hearing that Miriam had an ED in the early seasons made me so sad. She had that gaunt little face for so long, like now that she says it, she really did look sick. Knowing that a tiny kid would already have an ED is just so awful.

So awful. I loved that the first group of TNG kids looked like regular awkward teens with acne and everything, it made them more relatable/realistic and endearing.

Idk if anyone else remembers, but Cassie used to have story highlights about her alopecia and she’s show her thinning hair. I wonder if she found something that works well for her because you can’t tell anymore

I would love to know. I don't have thinning hair, but I've always had very thin hair (you can basically see my scalp through my bangs area) and idk what to do about it. maybe I'll bring it up with my doctor finally.
