Not to defend this trashbag, but most people sing or rap with an American accent (I know there are exceptions). I can't stand her so I don't listen to her music, but if she does something which makes it more egregious then I get the criticism, otherwise it is fairly commonplace - in songs, that is. Appropriating a speaking accent is not common.
