On the eve of what was supposed to be its release date, Lana Del Rey has unveiled the official cover art for Blue Banisters, her forthcoming eighth studio album. Photographed by frequent collaborator Neil Krug, it's definitely a step up from the PicsArt special she whipped up earlier this year.

Chemtrails and Norman Fucking Rockwell both had awful artwork. Why the fuck was she draped over the ugly nepotism boy on NFR? I don't wanna see that shit. Get outta here!

I hated the cover of NFR too.

Great concept (fleeing burning California) but awful execution. Hair and styling looked cheap.

And the Chemtrails cover… horrendous. They didn’t even airbrush off the ipod on the floor. They should have made the Target exclusive cover (pic taken by Neil Krug) the official cover of the album.
