thank you so much as always for these posts, OP! Even if I’m struggling hard with reading now and can’t keep up with this challenge, I really appreciate all these lists and hope I will get to some of them when my focus and motivation is better ❤️

If you like historical fiction, I highly recommend "Push Not the River", which is an engrossing novel based on a real 18th century diary of a Polish noblewoman living through the last partition of Poland. So much personal drama in addition to the political tragedy of the invasion and loss of the country. The sequel was solid as well.

Still trucking along about halfway thru Firekeeper’s Daughter. It makes me miss my dad, he loved Ojibwe culture.
