I’m just so glad I can always depend on people on ONTD to not be morons and being vocal about how wrong and disgusting this is. I can’t even imagine how their victims are feeling. I also can’t imagine how any people who have been victims of abuse on this site have been feeling. Take time for yourselves and if anyone needs to talk, let’s make this an open place to talk. <3

with how society is, as a survivor its hard to see how coming out could ever be worth it? with my experience where I assaulted as an intern by an employee/"friend", I did not even want to tell the program because I was leaving it within a week, but a mentor I confided in went behind my back and reported it anyway because she was afraid he would do it to someone else. after being asked 500 times what happened and talking to the director etc and having to write it out, I was kicked out of the program because of topless photos the guy had of me when sunbathing on the beach with my friend that were in no way relevant to what he did, but he basically used it as a "SEE SHE WANTS ME" excuse. I was kicked to the curb in a country I barely knew, wasn't offered to see a doctor or anything, and the mentor who claimed to be on my side and super feminist never talked to me again and still followed him on ig years after what what I last saw. he remained friends with all the other employees who had I spent months with getting to know. I had never

reading the details why he got released im so angry at the DA. they gave false hope to 60+ women that they would see justice.
