I stopped watching crime videos after awhile, too many men killing women and children. But I saw all the videos of JCS - Criminal Psychology and I'm back in the saddle... until it becomes too much once again.

Btw that The Imposter summary sounds like the case of the dude who looked like a dead dude and the family believed it, can anyone remembers that? It's an old story.

edit: well maybe it's the same docu 🤔

it’s the same story, a french guy with brown hair and eyes in his mid 20s was pretending to be a blond blue eyed teenage boy

I love JCS. It's the only true crime I can watch.

I've seen a lot of these, but I still have never gotten around to watching Tabloid.

And while it is no longer new information, I genuinely don't think I've ever cried uglier tears in the gasping/sobbing/coughing kind of way than when I watched Dear Zachary.

+1, the surprise twist halfway through Dear Zachary really crushed me.

Good god yes @ Dear Zachary. I had no idea about that story and I remember being glad my roomie wasn't home bc I was crying so hard

I watched Dear Zachary at 3am, by myself, it ruined me for about a week.

There’s something wrong about aunt Diane fucked me up the whole day I watched it. I just was glued to my couch in complete shock. Even with weed and alcohol, I just don’t understand why??? It was such a shocking and sad movie. I will never watch it again.

I can't even rewatch the Law & Order episode based on that story 😑

I had the exact same reaction. The whole thing fucked me up because I just still don't get it. I know she was an alcoholic but wtf. The way the kids said something was "wrong" with her really chills me for some reason. And the fucking photos omg.

My theory with Diane is she'd taken too much edibles and wasn't use to the extremely strong effects and then used alcohol to cope with the effects. She didn't want to worry the other adults so she thought she could just get home and keep it quiet.

I will NEVER get over abducted in plain sight.

THEY LET HIM TAKE HER TWICE?!?! THEY LET HIM IN HER BED AS PART OF “THERAPY” oh my fucking god her parents are literally worthless. Worthless. They should have been severely punished.

And his brother too like “yeah I knew he liked little girls” “I went out and visited him and the 12 year old and they were so happy” like…?!?! Omg I’m getting so riled up just thinking about it lmao fucking hell.

That was so infuriating to watch. They talk about it so calmly too like wtf.

And the mother having the fucking GALL to start writing a book about it or even to have the idea that she should write a book (and therefor profit) off it instead of living like a fucking hermit in shame the rest of her life like…. It’s insane.

I'm watching the Netflix docuseries on the original Nightcrawler and it's okay. I watched one on HBO called Murder in Middle Beach a few months ago that was pretty good if anyone's looking for a recommendation.

I was wondering if I should try Murder in Middle Beach. I don’t think I would ever be able to stop looking for the person who did that, and how scary must it be to not even know if you can trust your family

That dad in Murder in Middle Beach was so shady. I felt sorry for his sister who just wanted to escape.
