I go to all my other streaming spots before Netflix these days, I'm just not impressed by their selection anymore. There are a few exceptions but mostly, if I want good new shows/movies, I'm looking elsewhere

Ditto. Netflix seems cluttered.

yeah, I've been using hulu a lot more lately which has a much better selection of movies imo.

I cancelled my Netflix a few months ago. I don't regret it. I will start up again when The Crown continues but it's not something I feel I need every month anymore.

Everyone I know watches Netflix movies but I don't know anyone whose favorite movie is a Netflix movie. They're fun to watch and be a part of that one-week cultural moment but I don't ever go back to them after that.

What about movies that weren't made by Netflix but were sold to them (Mainly 90% of Sony's Animation Output this year) - do they suffer the same?

Honestly I think the last, truly Netflix made movie I was hyped for was......Beasts of No Nation.

Meh. I don't really see much of a difference.

Are Netflix films memorable to you ONTD?

No.

I agree that often their movies feel like a first draft. They need more time to develop.

This! Also, I think because they don’t have to have box office smash they don’t put that much effort into the process
