This feels like those videos you see at the start of a dystopian tv show.

NOPE. Between this and this story that just popped up on my feed, I'm ready to move into my bunker: https://nypost.com/2021/06/09/meet-grace-the-healthcare-robot-covid-19-created/

Hilarious that you should mention this. Bc I’ve seen several videos about these Customer Service humanoid robots managing one of the hotels(?) by themselves. They’d conveniently check you in or out. Everything else are running smoothly to ensure making your stay enjoyable. They seem very nice and polite… so simple if lack of better terms to explain this lol. Very efficient so it seems…? I thought that was pretty cool especially in particular to handling Covid-19 situation…. Idk man but I wouldn’t think deeply too much though.

Lmao this is hilarious. I like their compliments for each other. That was… sweet. Scary but sweet

Ok. This freaked me the fuck out but the fart part was funny.

I do think Siri is always listening though.
I was on a interview. Out of the blue (I did not say, hay Siri!) Siri on my Apple Watch started giving me tips about how I could be more efficient in the workplace. lmfao 🤣

Two days later, we were debating with some friends if Birkenstock were better than Crocs. The day after, I had a TON of ads for sandals on my Instagram feed…

🤔🤔🤔

They are definitely always listening. My friend has an Alexa and there have been times we’ve talked about something in her house and then she starts getting ads for it even though she never googled it or texted/emailed about it.

There’s not enough words to express how much I hate this! You couldn’t pay me to have an Alexa or any of the Amazon crap. I’m still haunted by this video I saw of this family, their ring? That’s what’s it’s called right lol but anyways their Amazon home camera system was hacked and this creeper man was talking through it to their little girl in her bed room. Telling her he could see her and he was her new best friend now and for her to say the n word. Really scary stuff and when the parents realized what happened and contacted Amazon they wouldn’t do anything about it! Said hacks are out of their control which is concerning to say the least

Yeah. We have more than enough evidence that corporations, especially tech corporations, should not be trusted with data like this. Maybe it's because I'm a geriatric millennial lmao, but these things do not provide enough convenience for me to give up my privacy.

People who are disabled can and do benefit from this, but it sucks that they have to trade in their privacy and safety to benefit from the technology

Ew scary. That's why the baby monitor I bought for my son's room isn't connected to wifi or anything. I've heard too many creepy stories of them being hacked.
