I vaguely remember Paris tweeting about this but did not realize it was a whole decade ago.

Thank you for this wrap up. I was so up in the TomKat and KStew drama that I couldn’t keep up with this one too. I think some of the siblings were trying to get her claimed incompetent to get access to that money.

Is Katherine still alive?

she is! she turned 91 last month.

I remember some of this. I wouldn't think that Janet would be trying to get MJ's money, she has her own. I can see the other siblings trying to get a piece of it, despite the fact that some of the Jackson 5 still do like cruse ship concerts & stuff.

Even if she didn't need it herself, it still might've benefitted her to let her siblings at it to keep them off her own back. Given the way they were always begging at Michael's door (and still are post-mortem) it wouldn't surprise me if they were the same with her

Mike was every terrible thing you could say about him and worse. He also totally had that family trying to leech off him and it doesn’t surprise me that his broke ass siblings were trying to get the money 5 minutes after he died. Janet is probably tired of them coming to her second but seems sketchy as hell too. I knew that there was a reason(s) why Paris didn’t have a good thing to say about her but couldn’t remember why or how it started.

I’m glad that Kath has lived long enough for the kids to be old enough to not need a guardian or anyone interfering in the estate cause I think a lot of them would have tried to drain it for their own gain. Simply it’s not their money and belongs to those three kids.

Katherine dies it’s going to be a free for all with her estate and the tell alls.
