I was a tween when I saw As Good As It Gets because all the grown ups wouldn't stfu about it.

The dog was cute & I recognized a Ghostbuster but wow what a truly boring moment in my life.

I saw it again during an Oscar movie night and it was just as "huh ok this is a movie?"

Helen Hunt must be great at schmoozing to have all the awards she has. I saw some horror movie she did as a kid and to me her acting had never changed for the better. She’s just always seemed so bland and free of an actual personality that if you told me she was a bot built in a lab I would just nod.

I thought she was good in Mad About You, but there wasn’t a whole lot of depth to that show.

I think way back in the day, she did an ABC Afterschool Special where she played a kid who took PCP and jumped out a window. I’m not 100% if it was her, but I’m too lazy to google it.

There’s another movie I loved as a kid, but always confuse with Twister (think it came out the same year or so)…it has a young brother, sister and they are in a boat with lava with their grandma and then the boat is too heavy so gma sacrifices herself and just in the lava- what movie is that
