finn hudson from glee and fitzgerald grant from scandal are two of my most hated. fitz is far worse but finn has a special place of hatred in my heart. the way the show praised him and let him get away with everything was so so so infuriating

I feel like people give Finn a pass because cory played him and by all accounts, he was a really great guy.

I think some people have a hard time separating the actor and the character.

i loved cory and thought finn was the worst. i get being kind to finn after cory passed, especially since finn did on the show as a result too, but even before that, the show praised him to the point of delusion. the way he outed santana but then was shown as the hero in her 'coming out' story the next episode.............. no words

I think people now are just hesitant to talk bad about Finn because they feel bad about Cory. Finn was absolutely problematic (though lbr every dude on that show was terrible except maybe Mike Chang)
