I used to go to goth clubs in LA and my favorite one was in Riverside because the drink prices were actually affordable.

Also everyone I knew would go to all the local beaches. Santa Monica and Venice Beach are tourists traps but a lot of fun and if you are ever in that area go to both of them at least once. People I knew also went to Redondo Beach but I never went there myself. Newport beach is less well known but it was very chill and laid back when I went there.

If you can, go hiking in any of the hills in that county and surrounding counties. I always wanted to go hiking in the Claremont area, but never went because my ex didn't want to go. Big regret now.
