This confused me so much because there I had no idea this festival existed until just now

Not a festival, created last year... when covid meant no Pride, it also meant the funding for Pride event sponsorships from corporations disappeared, which harmed so many LGBT+ organizations that rely on that funding. P&G and iHeart put together an event with donation asks to bring in the money to those organizations and keep them going. Since covid is still happening, so is this annual event (dunno if it'll happen after covid is no longer ending Parades).
