Honestly I use to give him the benefit of the doubt and just chalk it up as "opposite attracts" but the more I think about it because of recent development, the more I realize he is perfectly aware as to who she is and is fine with it.

I remember years ago both of them did this domestic violence tweet video where John is fake choking Chrissy and she plays the part of the victim. They deleted it cause obvious backlash.

I also have a theory that John always is fine with Chrissy online antics because it keeps him relevant by association. He's a respected artist sure but he was never a heavy-hitter or a frequent artist on the mainstream charts or radio. He's naturally the more reserved of the two so even in general he's not in the media much his own accord. But Chrissy is always doing something and that benefits him.
