Children shouldn’t be in show business and I will die on this hill.

Genuinely I hope we get to the point where we just CGI them in completely like tigers. I don't care if it looks a little weird.

My sister agrees because she thinks most kids are ugly and bad actors lol. She also just thinks it’s bullshit what happens to them.

I think the little girl in Logan is the only truly impressive/memorable performance by a child actor I've seen in recent years

I cringe now when I think about that attitude.

Demi's going to be saying this in 10 years about themself now

Still not making her parents take accountability for being the adults who took advantage of their kid is interesting.

They built a child-star, they did it by their own choices to put a child in the position of being the "bread winner", instead of going out and supporting their families themselves. So to grow up and still feel responsible or to feel shame for what you said at 17, isn't really progress.

I'm forever grateful my parents didn't even let me work at McDonald's as a child. "You are a child. School is your job. when you're done with school, you'll get a job." Don't make your kids grow up faster than they should, be parents or accept that you made them become a premature adult, therefore treat them as an adult and stop pretending to be the authority figure when YOU leveled the playing field on them at 17 yo.

I was just thinking how we put so much pressure and expectations on kids and we need to give them room to just enjoy their youth.

Of course it fucks kids up to be in that position. No adult should rely on a child to keep a roof over their head. EVER!
