I had no idea her bf was accused of sexual assault. That makes me wary.

You're right about those ones, I forgot about most of them! I still feel like it's rare nowadays, I always seem to be seeing surrogacy posts. Presumably because they want a bio child without going through a pregnancy themselves.

I guess there is something to be said about single women adopting but couples going for surrogacy (sia adopted too I think, quite recently no?)

But the way she phrasing it sounds like "I want one of the clean ones"

yup. I was ready to applaud her wanting an older child, because the older the kid the less chance of adoption (I think) but her reasons were... not what I expected.

anyway i was surprised i thought older would be teenager not mean a 5 year old. although that's still older than an infant/toddler so idk.

All I'll I have to contribute is that I want to adopt someday and I really want an Instant Family situation where I'm financially able to adopt and care for siblings. Would love to skip the baby phase (cause usually older kids have a harder time getting adopted but like if I had to I would get a baby lol)

I used to like Tiffany but after that doctor situation I was eeehhh. Then I heard her on Nicole Byer's podcast where she explained what happened and from the sounds of it both of them are messy but obviously take that with a grain of salt. Then she just talked about some conspiracy theories and I could hear Nicole doing her best to steer them in a more light hearted conversation and it worked maybe half the time. Tiffany has been through a lot and I hope some day she gets away from abusive men and gets help. And that should absolutely happen before she brings any child into her life.

Was this 'Why Won't You Date Me?' or one of her other podcasts? I know she co-hosts a lot too. I can't remember a WWYDM ep with her, but then again, I'm not always sober when I listen.

Mhm it was Why Won't You Date Me, "Ask Him About His Credit Score" Feb 5. And lol same, I listen when I'm high in a bubble bath. I listed to her ep with Paul Scheer and it was super cute! I had no idea he's married to June Diane Raphael but now that I know it makes perfect sense.
