His dad heard it on the answering machine and he run in his underwear towards the hospital, halfway through the street he turned around, went back to his house, put some clothes on and managed to drive his car.
Adam has a pretty good sense of humor about it. He talks about it often on his podcast with the Workaholics guys. His father has cancer right now and the way he talks about it, you can tell the family uses humor to cope with trauma but there is a lot of love there. He moved his dad out to Houston because they have the best cancer center and his dad wore a “Houston we’ve got a problem” tshirt to his first treatment. Definitely a fam who has been through it.
I knew all of these except Adam’s injury. Jfc, poor kid.
Phil Hartman’s death was one of the most shocking things to my 12yo self. I loved him on NewsRadio (the bits I could understand, since I was still learning English) and it just broke my heart.
Kevin Hart is annoying and I don’t like him as. A person, but I really admire how he was able to make jokes out of his tragedies. I’ve seen most of his stand up and it’s those stories that really make you feel so many emotions at once.

That is absolutely horrifying, oh my God. I cannot imagine how his parents must have felt when that happened.
