IndieWire has expanded its 2017 list of the best comedy films released since 2000, adding 20 films.

It’s such a shame it didn’t do better at the box office, but it seems to have grown into a cult favourite so maybe there is hope for a sequel yet?

Ryan is SO GOOD in this movie. I wish he did comedies more often.

I never pay attention to the ordering on lists like these because it's clearly done specifically to be clickbait, but I like a lot of their picks.

My personal additions (off the top of my head): Golden Arm, Popstar, Scott Pilgrim, Spy, The Little Hours

Oooo I loved Game Night. I will watch literally anything for my boy Kyle Chandler, but it was surprisingly hilarious.

I finally watched it bc A) Kyle Chandler and B) everyone here kept saying how good it was. I wasn't disappointed! And Jesse Plemons was hilarious in it.
