This is exactly what happened with that one Adam Driver story, a bad Google Translate job, and it led to people here calling him an abuser (which people still bring up despite it being exposed as a lie/extreme exaggeration of events).
I listened to the podcast and to me it doesn't sound like the relationship was abusive.. but unhealthy for sure. It's more about her processing her own baggage like trust issues and stuff like that now that she's in a new relationship. She talks about being very high maintenance and a control freak as a partner and being used to being lied to and lying herself and she's used to love having an expiration date

The way this reads they were definitely not right for each other.
