Nancy Grace was not having it after another reporter called Britney Spears "crazy" while discussing recently surfaced court documents filed by her father.

They were discussing the claims by her father made in 2008 that she had dementia.

Nancy Grace is an irredeemable piece of shit and saying one thing right, which was obviously performative and to get attention, doesn't change that.

I don't remember where I read it, but someone was explaining to me that the "dementia" label was just used as a placeholder then taken off to avoid putting Britney's actual diagnosis in the beginning. I could be totally wrong on how I understood that. Regardless, I don't think Britney has dementia, but maybe a lot of social anxiety. I think so many of her actions in 2007 were based on the pressure to conform to the celebrity she was set up to be since she was little and the fact that she would be judged by every single action she took. She couldn't do anything right. I am sure that alone could test even a person with the strongest mental health. That being said, I really hope they respect Britney's wishes and take her dad off as conservator.

I actually do think Britney does have some form of anxiety issue. I even think that’s one of the reasons sounds the way that it does. She wasn’t like before but now it’s more high-pitched and rushed-sounding.

another conspiracy i read was no one would ever insure her to tour again. after the disastrous and tragic end to the onyx hotel tour she literally didn't try to rehabilitate her knee and just canceled the tour to have non stop sex with k fed, britney wasn't reliable so this 'conservatorship' or some sort of power or attorney came into place to ensure britney could be protected to tour, i guess her father got power hungry after foreseeing over all that money and kept his position. this theory is plausible because toni braxton couldn't breathe again when she had a heart attack during her residency at the flamingo. she went bankrupt again cuz she had to pay everybody at the flamingo back, sound technicians and she even said she had to pay chair rental.

There was definitely talk of the c-ship being one of the insurance conditions around the Circus era, and given the Onyx cancellation then being followed by the breakdown I wouldn't be at all surprised if that was true.

I would wonder if the insurers would have been more relaxed about that as she's done several international tours plus the residency since then, but then of course the Domination cancellation happened so that may have spooked them again
