This is now the second high-profile project about the Candy Montgomery case announced within the past year. Elisabeth Moss is set to star as Montgomery in the limited series “Candy,” which hails from UCP and is currently in development at Hulu.

“We cannot imagine a more perfect artist to play the leading role of Candy than Elizabeth Olsen,” said Kevin Beggs, chairman of Lionsgate Television Group.
