I knew it had to be an app order. No one would order that out loud making eye contact

These drinks all look repulsive.

At Starbucks I order a Venti iced coffee with an add shot, 3 pumps sf vanilla, 3 pumps sf cinnamon dolce, heavy cream.

But ever since the pandemic I've just been collecting sf syrups from Jordan's skinny mixes, and making coffee at home because it's cheaper and I wfh now... and tbh my coffees are fire.

How did you get to the number of 3 pumps? Did you order with 2 pumps and decide it wasn't enough? Have you tried 4 pumps as well?

I don't drink coffee so I don't understand where these highly specific yet seemingly magic numbers come from...

Curious could you get in trouble for revealing the name should the person who ordered found out? I know there is no face or last name attached so it's still somewhat anonymous....but negl if I was this person and I saw this on twitter....I'd be embarrassed and/or pissed for someone putting out my business out there.

I see some tweeters were smart enough to block out the names and any other info.

Idk some people are petty and go hard for retribution lol.

To be fair, most service jobs, especially food service, don’t pay enough for workers to actually care. And then customers come in thinking they’re better than workers because they (or their spouses) make more than them, so they act all entitled and take everything out on workers. I really do resent people that treat others like garbage due to perceived status.

Omg I went to Starbucks today and they left something off my mobile order and were soooo rude and didn't believe me! I'm super polite to service workers and I've never had that happen before. It made me feel awful, I usually will just let it go but they forgot an entire item (just a piece of cake lol) and I thought it would be very easy for them to just give it to me but they acted like I was trying to scam them :/

my service worker friends have been saying that the first few months of the pandemic it was only the most rank assholes who were eating out / ordering stuff. so who knows what they've been through

not defending them, just wondering how bad it was. i know the real enemy is the corporation for making the job shitty but ya it sucks to be yelled at and feel powerless as a customer
