Faced with the destruction of her town at the hands of a greedy mining company, rebellious high school teacher Sarah Cooper utilizes an obscure cartographical loophole to declare independence.
Been intrigued by this concept ever since it was first announced as being in development, and I'm even more excited now that there's a trailer. Can't wait until this premieres!
When I watched the trailer I kept thinking about the NoDAPL protests.
According to last year's Pilot description "rebellious high school teacher Sarah Cooper utilizes an obscure cartographical loophole to declare independence. Now Sarah must lead a young group of misfits as they attempt to start their own country from scratch."
This makes it sound even worse considering the show is called Republic of Sarah.
I was gonna say that! Some of the "teen" CW actors are my age or older so it´s weird (but refreshing) to see someone younger than me play an actual adult.
