I want to be excited but this is absolutely Marvel's ploy to get those billion-dollar numbers back at the box office. I will have a really hard time feeling safe in a packed theater, eating popcorn, etc, for a long time and was so happy when they said Black Widow would be streaming on Disney+. I love going to the movies and that Endgame sequence was def an unforgettable night, I just don't trust the people who would be going around me and I don't trust capitalism enough to keep everyone safe.

It’s ok not to feel safe after the last year we went through. I doubt they’ll get the same ticket numbers. Especially since the rest of the world is so behind in vaccination, so i think the D+/Theatre window will get shorter than usual.

For some of us, this is an experience and something that actually brings us a lot of happiness, i believe that with proper safety measures we can enjoy the theatre experience, but i get you and it’s totally normal to not feel safe.

Don't get me wrong, it brings me a lot of happiness too! I've been to every Marvel release since The Avengers, even the weird and the bad ones (Looking at you, Thor: The Dark World). I did midnight releases for most of phase 3, bought the collector's popcorn buckets, all the dumb shit that makes it a really fun experience. I miss it a lot, I miss the sense of community you get from the people around you cheering at the same things, the surround sound, the colors, it's just not the same at home even though we have a really good home theater setup ( ... )

I agree. This pandemic has shown that we can't trust people to protect themselves and others around them. I don't blame you for not feeling safe in a movie theatre. Honestly, post vaccination, I thought I would feel safe to hop on a plane later this year, but I'm not there yet. I don't trust people at all.

Don't forget Salma Hayek! If Lupita Nyong'o made a cameo I'd faint.

One of the leakers that gets posted on the MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit a lot (Charles Murphy) has FF down for mid 2023, I think, and got all the new dates in this promo correct.

I really miss theatres. I'm not gonna pay for VOD at home cause 🏴‍☠️ life forever, but I've watched some movies in theatres more than once.
