The fact that your first assumption is that skinny women gain weight rather than employing one of the thousands of mid-to-plus-size actresses is literally the definition of the problem. Not attacking you, but, like, come on.

And in case anyone wants to try, no, this production doesn’t get a pass for hiring Beanie Feldstein. Who, while a lovely girl with genuine talent, rode in hard and fast on the nepotism wave.
