On this day in 2008, Bruno Mars was shocked to see Pete Wentz as the someone took pictures of him in LA. The photo went viral once Bruno Mars became famous, and now people on Twitter celebrate this day every year. (Or so it seems.)

After a similar response to my previous comment about what we were doing in 1999 (the year I was born), I posted this with a giggle. Oh man 2008 was such a tacky time for me but I'm still pretty fond of it. I was 17 had just come off my punk/emo phase where I wore dark colors all the time and was too srs for pop music or doing my hair. When I think of 2008 I think of wearing bright Aeropostale clothes all the time and ironically but not ironically stanning the Jonas Brothers. It was a simpler time.
