I want a cat, but I have hardwood flooring in my house and my landlord would never go for it. And of course my ass is surely signing another two-year lease in this nightmare of a market so I’m shit out of luck 😭

they don't really fuck with hardwood, i'd just make sure the litter box is on top of some sort of solid surface (you could even put it on a giant trash bag)

I thought this meant counting sheep (because naturally I didn't really look at the post) so my $.02 is that that netflix headspace mindfulness series works on me like hypnotism!!! I an insomniac but I turn that ish on and I don't even see the end of it. they just released a sleep one yesterday or today, and I slept all day after no sleep last night. amazing. I wish I had developed a normal sleep pattern in my younger years.

I follow a woman on instagram who does it for a living though, and it seems like really tough work, but it's lambing season right now so she's posting the most beautiful photos of her new lambs. Makes me jealous every day.
