Kinda feeling like maybe he isn't ready for this type of high profile interview yet? You can tell emotions are still very raw right now. Maybe a year or two from now he would be more at ease/comfortable to talk?

I am indeed curious about the idea behind the publicity. I hope it was all his idea to begin with, and that maybe he wants to show that the difficult part isn't simply over after you 'admit' publicly that you are trans. For a lot of people that is where Elliot's situation ended/was resolved, but it's really only a very tender beginning.

On the other hand he's going through a lot, a new transition, a new life, a divorce AND a pandemic. It's a lot for one person and I hope he doesn't feel like he needs to be some sort of spokesperson straight away (Or at any time tbh) simply because of his fame.

I do wonder if maybe he feels some sort of responsibility or a need to speak out with all the anti-transgender legislation right now - which is very thoughtful and noble, but the burden shouldn't be on him or anyone who is trans to challenge these laws.
