Not allowed but they rented out places so nominees who can't travel can go to to have a more professional set up (like a pro operating everything instead of them having shitty audio on their computer).

This is the first year where I legit havnt seen any of the Oscar best pictures noms. I didn’t go to the theater cus of covid, and I keep forgetting I can watch these movies on Netflix or Amazon prime :/

I was going to try and get in as many of these movies as I could yesterday but only got as far as Sound of Metal, Soul and Mank. I fell asleep on Mank, woke up right at the end and have no desire to try it again. I may try Pieces of A Woman today, but definitely won't be able to get it in before the show.

I just don't have the motivation. I think next year will be better.

Not watching but Rannells is a great choice. Some people have no natural wit and can't improvise at all and it gets so uncomfortable.
