This looks fun and silly and a little sad. I'm IN.
Note: Big side-eye at them using that Bryan Ferry cover, though. "Look! It's really modern! See, the 30s were just as fast as the 70s!" But I guess they want to get a younger audience that way and not just oldies like me who usually watch these things.

Oh boy where do I start

I just deleted a bunch of reasons why I think furthering the Mitford legend of their own making is distasteful at this time and I’ll keep it cute by saying:

1. Why don’t you dramatize your father’s books Emily?

2. I wish someone would do a series on the Charteris Guiness drama:

- Trepanation!

- Andy Warhol!

- Lady Mary’s wedding dress!

- Ost by The Big Pink

The Mitford’s, especially Nancy, are so overrated! And I agree - it’s shocking that people romanticizing them right now. Nuts.

Not a huge fan of Duchess Devonshire, lady Chatsworth, fox hunting is important for the peasants’ livelihood because what would they do if us aristocrats didn’t employ them when we hunt, have you seen what they do to hens, yah yah conservative values, my husband fucks anything that moves.....

If someone tells you who they are believe them tbh and they all told us who they were....but now they’re presented as some sort of interbellum Mallory Towers fantasy characters....

Is the same movie as The Edge of Love? It doesn't look good.

Same. But I think I was hoping it was a period romance between two women that wasn't tragic LOL.
