I finally watched Sound of Metal the other night and man, that last shot sticks with you. Riz did a great job so I'm happy he got something this season!

I know I usually do a post for the ceremony but since it was a virtual ceremony on a Thursday night and I don't have cable, I flopped. Hopefully next year they're back in the tent!!

I'm a Film Independent member, so I get to vote on these! Pretty happy with the outcomes, though I am sad that Never Rarely Sometimes Always, The Assistant and Miss Juneteenth didn't win anything.
