Her opinions are so terrible which bums me out bc she's so talented and played meaningful roles, esp as a darker skinned black woman.

I love Ghost, but I don't think she deserved to win for it. I think her best role is Sister Act, I love that movie.

She won for ghost because she actually deserved to win for the color purple. The oscars do that all the time.

The poll is missing “Theodore Rex”.

I think most iconic are Ghost and Sister Act. But Guinan is my absolute personal fave.

I feel like very long-lived characters tend to be more on the jaded side, withdrawing from society but Guinan was so mysterious and old but also tons of fun, she spent lifetimes just connecting to different people. I think I always liked Guinan so much because she was so very opposite to me - I've never been particularly good at, you know, interacting with people normally.

I thought exactly the same thing. I love Guinan. She was so wise and so unbothered at the same time. She treated nearly everyone with the same respect. It really gave me hope that such a character who has seen and done so much never lost that childlike wonder and playfulness. She always said exactly the right thing. Her scene with heartbroken Wesley still gets me.

I LOVE Guinan, such an amazing character that I didnt appreciate when I was younger. I would totally watch some sort of Guinan spinoff and it would be so soothing.

Guinan is such a great character. I also loved how they expanded on her in Time’s Arrow showing how she just spent time chilling on earth hosting meetings of brilliant minds.
