The first tweet I saw about Earth Day was how showering less will protect/save our water, and I was just like “I can’t.”

To be honest, I don’t think the environment can be saved on a macro level as long as we live in a capitalistic dystopia. Most societies are based on the consumption of goods for profit. We’ll only “learn our lesson” once everything is gone.

I hate seeing Earth Day posts from massive corporations, as is if they aren't some of the biggest polluters and have been heavily investing in marketing strategies to push the guilt and blame on us plebs.
