It's been a while. I'm back after an ONTD hiatus for the 11th installment of the ONTD Original Series: Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Yay, more Buffy posts! "Anne" is arguably my favorite season premiere, it does such a good job of balancing the show's typical charm/comedy with really diving into Buffy's trauma. And the fight scene in "hell" is just phenomenal

I think they mishandled the character, she never took off with the fandom and then the actress went off to Law & Order. Kate did grow on me, but I was not a fan at first.

I remember not liking her in the beginning but then right when she started to grow on me they just dropped her. I thought after her final episode and those moments she could have turned into an interesting addition to the team though. Oh well.

i love how meaningful I Only Have Eyes For You is within the context of the show, there's a whole layer of cathartic subtext related to what Buffy is going through that you'd miss entirely by casually viewing it as a standalone ep. It's like the real plot was building up to that line of Giles in order to move the overarching emotional narrative forward

I Only Have Eyes for You is a mixed bag episode but I love Gile's line "To forgive is an act of compassion, Buffy. It's not done because people deserve it. It's done because they need it."

As you post this, I just finish the last episode of season 2 and will be rewatching season 3 (again) so thank you for this perfectly time post.

Had to take some time off. Was getting unnecessarily harsh/critical of things, and I could tell by the comments shifting that it wasn't being well received. Decided to look inward and, yep, I was going through some s***. lol.
But I'm back, better than ever, and appreciative of those who commented and called me out, honestly. <3
Not sure where I'm going from here, but I'm thinking of doing a plot holes / continuity errors post, about the top ones that really had me scratching my head...lol

100%. Favourite season finale of the series, quite possibly my favourite line in the series too. What a heartbreaking episode. I've seen it a million times and I still tear up.
