Taemin announces Beyond Live concert and enlistment date

It's a sad day for Shawols. After finally having SHINee back again, Taemin announced today during a V LIVE that he is starting his enlistment on the 31st of May.

It's a bummer cause we just got them back but I figured it would only be a matter of time. Now that they've proved Shinee's still popular, they'll want to send him and get him back as soon as possible.

With him and Baek gone, and with Lucas apparently in China for the next six months doing promotions there, I'm wondering if they're gonna continue with SuperM?

I was talking about SuperM with some friends and I personally wouldn't mind if SM added other idols to fill the gaps while Baekhyun and Taemin are gone. The names I would throw in the hat for that are Xiumin and Key.

But I wouldn't mind them continuing on as NCT Kai in the meantime. That way Ten and Lucas might get more opportunity to shine. And there will still be a SuperM to return to once all the enlistments are out of the way.

The ones remaining aren't strong vocalists, they aren't bad but all groups need at least one good vocalist

and no thank you to Key and Xiumin there, If they need to keep going let them be the NCT sub unit it should have been , i also don't see neither of them being part of it

I actually expect them to add new members from nct, like jaehyun/doyoung. they need vocalists, and by the time baekhyun comes back, not sure he will fit in with the superm youthful image. plus i assume he will also be busy with exo and solos

I was watching the vlive and it was such a rollercoaster of emotions. First sad with the news and then he was playing with Kkoongie and it was so cute haha. Seeing him cry was hard. But I think him going now is for the best. We get him back sooner and he really misses performing for a live audience which he isn't able to do now anyway.

yeah, it’s true. this is really the best time for him to go, and we still have another album & the solo concert so it’s bittersweet rather than just miserable. i am gonna miss him though 😢
