I misread and thought it said Dominic West was RETURNING and was confused so much I freaking pulled up his wiki page to see who the fuck was he playing.

And then I rechecked the post.

...i also misread Hugh Dancy as Hugh Dennis and was about to write that huh, I am curious to see him in a drama role, because I only saw him in comedies.

Tbh, them adding Dominic West to the cast is kind of hilarious to me, given that Lily James was one of the more important characters throughout the last seasons.

I already saw someone commenting something like "welp, looks like Rose (Lily's character) is not returning".

I'm excited. I know the show has its problems, but it's my ultimate guilty pleasure/comfort show. I have a lot of fond memories attached to it and it helped me through some things, including this pandemic.

I hope they'll bring Thomas' boyfriend back.

This show is trash but it can be very comfortable.

The last couple seasons were such a chore to get through and I only watched the movie cause I was bored. I ended up enjoying it though

Dominic West is one of those people whose face I can't stand for some reason, it makes me want to punch him. He's one of the reasons why I stopped watching The Affair

The last 2 seasons are BAD but I liked the movie quite a bit. I think Fellowes is better at writing a 2 hour movie than he is at writing a 12.5-hour series.
