I love christian bale :O I think a lot of it is to do with his resemblance to kermit the frog and also his performance in Empire of the sun.

I saw Empire of the Sun when it came out (I was 6...) and it fucked me up in all the best ways. When I was older I read J G Ballard’s book and the movie is legit the best adaptation that book could have and Bale was perfectly cast. I also watched a movie about Ballard going back for the first time and it fucked me up all over again.
