I love the costumes. is it like a mini-series drama?
i want to watch it, but I'm currently watching like 10 movies/dramas at the same time, so idk...
I just hope I'm ready for this by May 14.

From the little dialogue she speaks in the trailer, sounds like she mailed the accent work. That's the one bit I was worried about.

One of my least favorite movies of last year was The Witches remake. But you know what, I take that back. At least it was just a movie about a black kid and his grandma fighting witches. No black trauma, barely a racial commentary. Just a kid, a grandma, mice and damn witches. Can we have more of that, please!

Also Jingle Jangle. That was a cute Christmas movie with black people inventing stuff and looking regal (the castings of young Anika Noni Rose and young Phylicia Rashad made no sense tho. Netflix really hates black girls who aren't mixed and light skinned, jeez).
