Seeing some of these companies who commit their own atrocities against their own white collar workers (google), retail employees (Target), and everyone fighting for better life (Amazon)...incheresting.

Cisco is actually a super cool company tbh, just needlessly hard to get into as a newbie unless you're straight out of college or about to retire.

I mean taking a stance is good but is it accompanied with consequences for states/politicians who run try to pass these laws? Cause the finger wagging isn't going to do much if it's not backed up by some real muscle.

The problem is that since these laws were passed legally by legally elected representatives of the state, there is no consequence that can be realistically applied that wouldn't be a Constitutional issue. The answer will always come down to using the main consequence that can be given to a legislator: Vote them out.

Well, they can stop donations to anyone who voted for the laws (they will not). That's a legit consequence.

Oh, they'll never do THAT, lol.
Paying off both sides...sorry, I mean, making campaign contributions to both Parties, is baked into the system.
We need campaign contribution laws. For real.

I mean, are they going to stop donating money to these politicians? Are they going to pull productions and their businesses out of the states doing this? If not, their little signatures in the Times and the Post literally means shit other than a way to pat themselves on the back and try to buy good publicity.
