maybe this will result in them not making this movie at all.

i'm torn though, there are so many black american stories worthy of a movie but almost all of them are about black suffering and just mentally and emotionally i can't take anymore. does the man this movie is based on deserve recognition? absolutely. do i want to see black people in rags sweating and getting beat for two hours and white british actors doing their best southern accents? absolutely not.
