I got 5 min into a Mama Mia movie like 10 years ago and couldn’t do it lol. And that Les Mis movie was just a nightmare I had, I’m sure of it.

I've only seen her sing in Les Mis and Mamma Mia and neither performance convinces me that she has the chops to sing Glinda. Glinda is a pretty difficult part and idk if a non-professional can really do her justice.

Yes Glinda is such a difficult role. She sings in a massive range and a bunch of different styles. I don't think Amanda could do a strong enough pop belt, nor do I think she could sing the more classical soprano sections. They should just cast an actress and dub the singing tbh.

I think it’s distracting when they straight up dub an actress like rachel mcadams in Eurovision or Rebecca furgeson in the greatest showman
